The kitchen furniture brand Santos has received the Special Jury Prize in the III Edition of the Kitchen and Bathroom Design Awards, organized by the magazine Cocinas y Baños to recognize excellence among firms and professionals in the kitchen industry.

Santos receives this award for the second time, after having previously won it in the first edition of the competition held in 2015. This recognition underscores the brand’s trajectory and innovation capabilities, noting that “their collections are designed to create more practical, organized kitchens and provide specific solutions for space, storage, and aesthetic preferences.” Additionally, it highlights “the high quality of finishes and the variety of accessories” as other strengths of the brand.

Coinciding almost with the receipt of this award, Santos has introduced its 2019 Kitchen Furniture Collection. The magazine Interiores has analyzed one of the new designs, highlighting its ‘great storage solutions and trendy materials and finishes.

It’s a black kitchen with an island, completely open and centrally located in the home’s living area. The black color—’a very current range’—and handle-less fronts combine to create a harmonious and contemporary atmosphere. The sculptural shape of the island invites forgetting its nature as a storage unit, and the column cabinets form a functional container endowed with aesthetic value.

The plinth drawer is one of the innovations that has caught Interiores’ attention the most. This solution extends the storage capacity of cabinets to the floor, providing up to four easily accessible storage levels.

Similarly, the publication has highlighted the ability to personalize the interior of the cabinets, as well as the capacity of drawers and trays to adapt to users’ habits and needs through multiple accessories.
